Listo para usar..../ Ready to use ...

Este costurero ya lo terminé hace tiempo, pero no tenía fotos para mostrar. Para terminarlo me inspiré en el SALexander que muchas hicieron, y que me gustó mucho pero no me animo a hacerlo en punto cruz.

Cuando cosí lo que sería la tapa, le agregué perlitas para que haga juego con el interior.

It is a long time since I made this sewing set, but I didn't have any picture to show you.

To finished it I got inspiration from the SALexander ,that many of you made it. I like it so much but I'm not finally decide to do it in cross stitch.

I added beads to the cover, to match with the interior.

Este es el interior.

Rosa y Ocre / Pink and Ocru

Terminé con el bordado de las puntillas y lo que será la tapa del mi nuevo Costurero de Viaje. I finished with the embroidery of the points lace and what will be the cover of the new Sewing Set. Como se ve en la foto las piezas son bastante pequeñas. En una de ellas agregué pequeñas perlitas, algo que en la randa tradicional no se hace. Pero quise darle un toque diferente. As you see in the picture the pieces are really small. In one of them I added small beads, something that in the traditional lace doesn't do. But I wanted to give it a different touch.

Y a esta randita rectangular, le quise bordar rosas y corazones (que apenas se ven), para que haga juego con la "caja" coturero que les mostré en mi post anterior.

And to this small rectangular randa,I embroidered roses and hearts (that hardly are seen), so that matches with the other sewing set of my previous post.

Costurero / Sewing set

Este es el costurero que hice para guardar algunos de mis hilos y tener todo lo necesario para tejer la randa en casa.

This is the sewing set I made to keep same of my threads and have every thing ready to knit randa at home.

El cartonaje y el Punto Cruz son técnicas que no hago desde hace años.

También bordé mi primer biscornu y un porta tijeras.

The Cross Stitch and boxes are techniques that I haven't practice for years.

I embroidered a biscornu too and a little bag for my scissor.

Y esta es una de las puntillas para el costurero de viaje. Como ven, no es muy grande, 2.5cm de ancho por 10 cm.de largo.Usé hilo de algodón italiano no. 25. And this is one of the points lace for the small sewing set. As you see, it is not big, 1" wide by 4" long. I used Italian cotton thread n. 25.
