Tardé un poquito pero aquí estoy. Ya cosí la puntilla a la malla y está lista para ser bordada. Ahora a pensar que puntos de bordado voy a emplear.

- I learned "Randa" from my grandmother, I'm the 6th generation that continued with this tradition in my family. I have been making it for the last 37 years and I love it. I participate in many shows around Argentina and Canada. I have a diploma in Teaching Handmade and I studied Fine Arts at the University. Aprendí "RANDA" de mi abuela materna, soy la 6ta generación que teje la randa en mi familia. Hace 37 años que la tejo y me gusta mucho continuar con esta tradición. Participé en varias exposiciones y ferias nacionales en Argentina, como así también en Canada. Me recibí de Profesora de manualidades y estudié Licenciatura en Artes Plásticas.

How do you create the background?
Rita,the background I knit as you do on your work.But I use a smaller "guide",a tapestry needle no. 20 or smaller.
