Azul / Blue

Estoy muy contenta con este Pinkeep. Elegí el color azul para hacer el encaje, como algunas ya saben, es uno de mis colores favoritos. El diseño del encaje es muy simple.

I'm happy with this Peen keep. I choose blue colour because is one of my favorites. The lace design is so simple.

A la cinta que usé para adornar este pinkeep, le bordé el punto inglés, para sujetarla .

To place the ribbon I just embroidered the herringbone stitch.

Le hice un bolsillo para guardar mis tijeras. Le bordé mis iniciales en punto cruz, mis primeros puntos 1 sobre 1. Me encantó !

I made a pocket for my scissors. I embroidered in cross stitch my initials, my first stitches 1 over 1. And I loved it !

Y aquí les dejo una pequeña muestra de lo que estoy diseñando ahora. Se me dió por probar este hilo dorado, para bordar este trabajo.Y nunca pensé que me daría tan buen resultado.

And here I want to show part of my next project. I wont to try this gold thread, to embroider this work. And never thought it could be this good.

A pinkeep / Un pinkeep o alfiletero.

Hace unos días termine este pinkeep, hecho con una pequeña randa cuadrada. Le bordé un pajarito que encontré en una de mis viejas revistas de bordado. Sólo dibujé el contorno, con el mismo hilo con el que hice la malla o red, y después lo rellene con diferentes puntos.

A few days ago I finished this pinkeep, made with a small square randa. I embroidered a bird that I fund in one of my old magazines. I just follow the outline, with the same thread that I made the mesh, after I fill it with two different stitches.

Esta es la parte de atrás, pequeñas rosas, que me encantaron.

This is the back, with little's roses.

Y este es la foto de un detalle del moñito en cinta rosa. Primero hice el pinkeep y por separado la randa. Después sólo agregué el encaje con unas puntadas invisibles.

And this is a picture with a detail of the bun .First I made the pinkeep and later the randa . Then I just sew the lace with a few stitches.

Cajita para mis alfileres / Little box for my pins.

Que lindo es poder seguir publicando mis trabajos. Estuve un poco enferma y no tenía ánimo ni para tomar la aguja. Este pequeño proyecto lo hice para mis alfileres, que tanto uso para el encaje a bolillos o para mis costuras. Todavía sigo buscando ideas de cómo aplicar la randa a cosas de todos los días.Y así surgió esta cajita/alfiletero. Por dentro la forré con papel hecho a mano, y en la base le puse fieltro, para darle una mejor terminación.

Before I start this post, I want to tell you I was a bit sick and because of that I couldn't do Randa for a while.

I made this small project, to use it with my bobbin lace and sowing works. I'm still looking for new ideas to apply the Randa on everyday things. And this is one of the result, a little pin-case.

Inside I lined it with handmade paper and in the base I put a piece of felt to give it a better look.

Update: Je veux leur éclaircir que ce type de dentelle se nomme Randa et la maille ou le réseau est tissé d'abord et après il est brodé sur elle. Il est très pareil au filet mais une dentelle ronds aussi peuvent être faits.

Randa cuadrada / Square randa

Hoy les quiero mostrar como también se puede hacer randas cuadradas. Este es un diseño propio de mis abuelas, donde se borda todo el cuadrado. No es complicado pero lleva tiempo cubrir todo con el bordado. En cuanto al contorno, tejí la puntilla con diferentes puntos, los cuales se ven más grandes. Ya me contarán si les gusta o no.

Today I want to show you that also the randa can be made in a square shape.

This is a design created by my Grandma, where all the mesh is embroidered. It isn't complicated but takes a lot of time to cover all.

About the point lace I made it with different stitches and you can see them bigger.
